Dr Rishi was invited to be the “Chief Guest” at the at the 9th Annual International Commerce Conference organized by the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi and in association with Indian Accounting Association. This year’s theme, “Viksit Bharat in Amrit Kaal”, explored the dynamic roles and transformative contributions within the sphere of commerce and industry in the evolving landscape of Bharat (India).

This program was scheduled for March 14-15, 2024.

Conference was structured around seven vital sub-themes, each focusing on different facets of Viksit Bharat:

1. Role of Women in Viksit Bharat: Exploring the diverse contributions of women in the gig economy, business leadership, entrepreneurial ventures, and homemaking.
2. Role of Youth in Viksit Bharat: Discussing the impact of gig workers, demographic dividends, and the holistic development of youth, particularly in start-ups.
3. Role of Responsible Businesses in Viksit Bharat: Delving into sustainable business models, responsible reporting frameworks, green practices, and the journey towards carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions by 2070.
4. Role of Industry 5.0 in Viksit Bharat: Examining the impact of AI, Fintech, innovation in start-ups, and the emergence of Bhartiya unicorns, leading to the paradigm shift towards Industry 6.0.
5. Emerging Dimensions of Business in Viksit Bharat: Analysing trends in digital and hybrid business models, diversity and inclusion, business restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
6. Role of NEP 2020 in Viksit Bharat: Assessing the impact of the Indian Knowledge System, technology-enabled learning, simulated learning environments, and the evolving roles of educators and learners.
7. Research Paper Presentations: An exclusive segment for research scholars to present papers based on their doctoral or post-doctoral work in contemporary areas.
