As precursor to current event, Broadband India Forum (BIF), together with The Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) Japan, had organised a closed-door High-Level Interactive Session on Digital Infrastructure on ‘Facilitating USD 100 billion for World Class Digital Infrastructure in India’ in 2020.
As a follow on, Broadband India Forum (BIF) had organized a focused Round Table Discussion on “The Spillover Effects of Digital Infrastructure and Financing” on 1st March, 2023 in New Delhi in which a keynote presentation was made by Prof. N Yoshino, Professor Emeritus, Keio University (Dept. of Economics and Former Dean & CEO, ADBI) on the spillover tax return and promotion of SME activities covering development of broadband network.
Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar (Chairman of BIF AI/IoT Committee, President & Board Member of Aeris Communications India Pvt. Ltd., Chairman of IET Future Tech Panel and CII IoT Summit) took part in this focused Round Table Discussion as an esteemed participant.
The venue was Conference Room 2, India International Centre, Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi (1000 to 1130 Hrs). Other participants in this focused Round Table Discussion were from decisive government departments as well as leading Think-Tanks along with industry and academia representatives from the diverse ICT ecosystem (35-40 participants).
