Moderated by Dr Rishi Bhatnagar, the panel highlighted Asian/ASEAN perspectives on how Smart Cities can influence broader agendas beyond their city-level municipal foci or concerns. More specifically, how Smart Cities around the world can come to symbolise progress and innovation, and perhaps even progressiveness in some ways. They also influenced perceptions and expectations in terms of political agendas, values and priorities.
